Concrete ways to improve women’s rights, and strategies to curb gender stereotypes in the Southern Mediterranean were in focus at a meeting organised by the EU-funded Euromed Gender Equality Programme and the European Training Foundation (ETF), with priorities put forward including economic empowerment and advocacy by religious leaders.
